Advocacy for Humankind seeks to eradicate crimes of organized harassment through public awareness, education and advocacy for victims.
We envision a world free from organized harassment crimes, where all global citizens are free to exercise their fundamental human rights.
Advocacy for Humankind came into being in June of 2019. Team members have at one time or another been subject to crimes of organized harassment. Because of their own experience, they have knowledge of how difficult it is to get organized harassment crimes investigated, let alone prosecuted.
In addition, victims of organized harassment face unique hurdles that victims of other crimes do not have to contend with. Many who contact law enforcement agencies are disregarded, or assumed to be mentally ill. Most of the time the police do not file reports. Sometimes they place those reporting the crimes on 72 hour psychiatric holds.
This indicates an immense misunderstanding on the part of law enforcement and ultimately causes re-victimization of innocent citizens — those who law enforcement agencies exist to serve and protect.
Advocacy for Humankind seeks to bring about greater public awareness of organized harassment on a national level.
We seek to both educate and partner with entities who can help solve the layered problems that organized harassment presents.
We also advocate for victims and attempt to provide the support they need to navigate the murky waters of a crime that is virtually undetectable to those not undergoing it.
