Advocacy for Humankind in San Francisco for UN Day in Support of Victims of Torture
On June 26, 2020, a small group showed up at the Embarcadero in San Francisco to bring awareness to the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. Also on the agenda was to inform the public about coordinated stalking, which protocols have been called out by UN Special Rapporteur Nils Melzer to be psychological torture.

Covid-19 has had a big impact on the amount of vehicular and foot traffic in San Francisco. Nevertheless, Advocacy for Humankind showed up, talked about the issues and gave out a lot of brochures. Amazing live music was provided by our friend and Bay Area Support Group member Chester Subs.
Thank you to all who showed up, we’re just getting started!
